Cancellation & Refund Policy
Our policy regarding service cancellations and refunds for our digital services.
1. Our Policy Overview
ETSEC Inc. ("ETSEC", "we", "us") is committed to providing high-quality, expert cybersecurity services. Due to the digital nature of our services, the allocation of expert time, and the resources involved, our refund policy is necessarily limited.
Payments for all services, including one-time assessments (e.g., VAPT) and ongoing retainers (e.g., Managed SOC), are for the expert time, resources, and access to our platforms, not for a specific guaranteed outcome (e.g., the "discovery of vulnerabilities").
2. General Refund Policy
As a general rule, all fees are non-refundable. Once a service has commenced, we cannot provide a refund for the time and resources that have been expended or allocated.
We do not offer pro-rata refunds for any service canceled mid-term.
3. Cancellation of One-Time Services
This applies to services like Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT), one-time audits, and specific consulting engagements.
- Cancellation Before Work Begins: If you cancel a one-time service at least 48 hours before the scheduled start date, we may offer a full refund, less any payment processing fees.
- Cancellation After Work Begins: If you cancel a service after work has commenced (including kick-off meetings, resource allocation, or initial scans), no refund will be issued, as we have already dedicated resources to the engagement.
4. Cancellation of Ongoing Services
This applies to recurring services such as Managed SOC, continuous monitoring, or other subscription-based retainers.
- Cancellation Notice: You may cancel an ongoing service by providing 30 days written notice to contact@etsecinc.com, or as otherwise specified in your Service Agreement.
- Effect of Cancellation: You will continue to have access to the service through the end of the billing period for which you have already paid. No refunds will be provided for any remaining portion of the billing term.
5. How to Request Cancellation
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to your designated account manager or via email to contact@etsecinc.com.
We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
